Asheville Intimate Tree Farm Wedding

This intimate wedding occurred near Asheville, nestled in the hills on a Christmas tree farm. I didn’t really know what I was driving into as I approached this location. The highway led to mountain views and country roads. I turned onto the property and drove through hillsides filled with Christmas trees and admired the cabins dotted along the road. It was some kind of unique wonderland. I was met with the sweetest couple and their immediate family. I felt right at home.

I believe in intimate weddings and elopements so much. While I think every wedding should be unique to the couple but if an intimate wedding or elopement suits you best then that is precisely what you should do! You can still invite your family members, friends, or whoever you want. You can keep it small and stress-free, you can focus on your love and enjoyment of the day as opposed to table linens or the bathrooms not working properly (that happens at weddings sometimes).

Often times couples worry about not having the opportunity to celebrate their wedding with everyone they love. Couples frequently will have a larger reception-style party after their intimate wedding or elopement day and this is a great way to include everyone but still have your stress free wedding!
The most important thing is to remember that your wedding day can happen anyway that you want it to, just try to stay focused on your heart’s desires! If a big wedding is your jam, go for it! If a small shindig is more your speed, then hooray! It’s simply important to know what will light you up the most!

This intimate wedding day was so special,  I’d shoot this day one thousand times 🙂
